About Ovation Strings
The name "Ovation Strings" was created in the summer of 1984 during the group's first formal engagement. The musicians received a standing ovation after providing background music for a 40th wedding anniversary celebration on a back yard deck in El Dorado Hills overlooking the Sacramento Valley region.
We began as a string trio and have since expanded to include solo, duet and quartet offerings.
The Perfect Atmosphere
We provide music for wedding ceremonies, receptions, parties, luncheons, dinners and any other type of occasion which calls for a special atmosphere.
All of our musicians are formally trained with advanced degrees and play with various orchestras in Northern California. In addition, we are all music educators. Email us for more information.
